11/6/2022 0 Comments Wow those who remain![]() I get the impression that The Girl will become much more relevant in book three, but we shall see. The Girl and her tagalong kind of annoyed me in Book Two - I mean the kid she's picked up is SO damn whiny! He needs a good kick up the backside, to wake up and smell the zombies before he becomes one, but then his weaknesses amplify The Girl's determination and will to survive, and the kid does have his uses now and then so meh. The Last One Out really surprised me in this second instalment - we learn a lot more about who he is, where he comes from and what exactly he's protecting - and in addition, the lengths he'll go to in order to protect it. Nevertheless, his idea is a cunning one, though its execution doesn't go exactly to plan. Meanwhile, Danny (the Geek) is stuck between a rock and hard place, forced to make a decision which puts not only him, but the town of Redwood at risk. With only Tigh - the gruff, disapproving, downright unfriendly Army guy for company, the duo form a tentative.not a friendship, not exactly.but more of a neutral ground, deciding that they're going to follow the Army's 'Plan Z' (no, really). The story opens with The Doctor who is now swamped with guilt after her desperation to find a cure, a bit of bad judgement, and a loose zombie caused her companions' deaths. Those Who Remain: Book Two is part of a trilogy.more They might have better luck than Peter and Laurie, who are trying to survive in the woods by themselves.īut we can't forget a certain briefcase. Maria and Seargent Tigh travel across snow-filled roads toward the unlikely chance of civilization. Now alone, she's determined to reach Redwood and save the very town that wanted her family gone. His town is being threatened by a band of mercenaries with a thirst for blood and their only chance of winning is Lily. So it's no wonder things are going from bad to worse for Danny. The high survival rate of sociopaths doesn't help either. Ammo and hot water run out, and everyone gets cranky. ![]() ![]() Now The longer someone survives in the Zombie Apocalypse, the worse things get.
